Ever imagined a world where nature and technology co-exist?

Mikaela Stafford's The Orbit is a digitally rendered sculpture created to harmonise the tensions between the physical and virtual worlds.

Through her expertise in 3D animation programs, Stafford envisions a world where the physical and virtual realms co-exist and share a mutually beneficial and sustainable relationship. Utilising 3D animation programs she is able to digitally render large scale biomorphic sculptural forms and has expanded her practice to physical public art pieces.
