NFT Digital Art Subscription Platform emerges from Brinc Accelerator
The company that built The Sandbox Game for users to play-to-earn in the metaverse invests in a new NFT Art Agency and subscription platform.
Sugar Glider Digital completed Brinc’s Launchpad Luna accelerator program. Brinc, in partnership with Animoca Brands designed Launchpad Luna to support start-ups and foster NFT innovation in various fields including arts, culture and entertainment.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Brinc is a leader in global venture acceleration, operating 18 multidisciplinary accelerator programs in 7 countries. Brinc accelerates startups focused on Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, connected hardware, drones, robotics, clean energy and food technology all within a sustainability mandate. Brinc has a portfolio of 200+ companies with founders from over 38 countries.
Animoca Brands is a global leader in gamification and blockchain with a large portfolio of over 150 investments in NFT-related companies and decentralised projects that are contributing to building the open metaverse.
Launchpad Luna provided Sugar Glider Digital with a rich understanding of the tech start-up ecosystem and the world of Web 3.0 & tokenomics. The diversity of content and community meant we were in contact with people and ideas from all around the world and a myriad of ideologies and disciplines.
Community and diversity is an enriching element of an accelerator exposing SGD to hyper intelligent people, ideas and networks. Through the accelerator, the vision for Sugar Glider Digital was developed and refined and the next key steps to launch are materialising with the help of the toolkit we have emerged with.
Sugar Glider Digital aims to grow the art market offering new exciting possibilities for artists to become NFT art creators. With principles grounded in sustainability, the platform takes an ethical and environmentally conscious approach; selling, trading and minting NFT artworks.
Over the past three months, I have learned so much about the world of blockchain, NFTs, and cryptocurrency and am so excited to have built our new venture with Sugar Glider Digital; the first NFT art subscription service for digital works for the public realm.
A huge congratulations to all the fantastic businesses involved and a big thank you to Daniel Mak for your support, advice, and insights!
